This project is part of the València 2030 Climate Mission, within the context of the European mission of 100 smart and climate-neutral European cities in 2030.
The main objective is cultural. It is to educate and train Valencian citizens about the fundamental role of Posidonia and about the current state of regression of the meadows. To do this, we will focus on schools, without leaving aside the rest of the Valencian citizenship. We will involve associations and foundations with which we have already worked and others with which we are getting in touch, as well as local agents of the maritime fishing sector. In addition, to support and complement this objective, the development of Posidonia in nurseries is proposed, both for scientific research and contribution to the scientific community by providing new studies from a different point of view to those that have been carried out so far; as well as to make this plant known because as Cousteau said “You only protect what you love, and y
