The Blue Circle project aims to identify and map opportunities in the sustainable blue economy for VET, and to promote awareness of these opportunities among teachers/trainers and students/trainees through gamification.

Blue Circle Objectives

• Contribute to a socially fair transition to the green economy in EU, through the identification of professional opportunities for VET in the sustainable blue economy.
• Raise the awareness among the VET providers, teachers, trainers and learner for the needs and professional opportunities for VET in the sustainable blue economy.
• Enable VET learners skills to work in the sustainable blue economy.

Blue Circle Outcomes

• Implementation of a pilot think tank on sustainable blue economy, directed to VET.
• Identification and map of opportunities on sustainable blue economy for VET.
• Adapted matrix and tool for self-assessment of circular skills to the sustainable blue economy.
• “Blue Sherlock Game”, for awareness and identification of professional opportunities in the sustainable blue economy.
• Multiplier events, in Portugal and Spain, and project results dissemination.
